Delivery information

We currently offer Isle of Man

Can't wait for delivery? Why not try our FREE Click & Collect service? Simply make your purchase online and collect it after 3 hours from in-store. When collecting your item, please bring your order confirmation with you to the Customer Collection Point - located at the tills.

This service is available store 7am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:30pm Saturday and 9am - 5pm Sunday.

Delivery Rates

  • Standard Delivery - We currently charge £10 delivery on items delivered to the Isle of Man, UK will be more and arranged separately . This will be calculated during the order process.
  • FREE Delivery for Items over a certain amount on the Isle of Man only.

These charges will be calculated when you add items into the shopping basket and during the checkout process. Please contact us on info@rileys.co.im for details of delivery to other destinations.

Delivery Dispatch

Ride-on mowers despatched to destinations in the Isle of Man will be delivered by our own transport within 3 working days subject to stock availability. If an order cannot be fulfilled within 7 working days we will let you know as soon as possible.

Goods other than ride-on mowers weighing over 100kgs will be despatched on a pallet within 5 working days (subject to stock availability) via a 3 working day carrier service. If an order cannot be fulfilled within 5 working days we will let you know as soon as possible.

Delivery Terms

The date of delivery specified by the Supplier is an estimate only. Time for delivery shall not be of the essence of the contract and the Supplier shall not be liable for any loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused directly or indirectly by any delay in the delivery of the Goods.

All risk in the Goods shall pass to the Customer upon delivery.

You will be notified automatically of any delivery costs that may apply before you submit your credit/debit card details based on the shipping address that you have supplied. Please note that we require a signature upon delivery of your order, and that we cannot deliver to multiple/alternative addresses in the event of you not being able to take delivery at your primary delivery address as stated on the order.

You must check the goods and record on the carriers manifest if there is any damage to packaging- failure to record any damage will result in subsequent claims for damaged goods being refused.

It is Your responsibility to ensure adequate access for the carriers, and the delivery service is kerbside only- our carriers are not permitted to assemble product, or to remove packaging or unwanted, or 'old' product, ie furniture. Please note also that shipping times are approximate and we can in no way be held responsible for delays caused by third parties, such as suppliers or carriers, nor any consequential loss incurred. Please contact us prior to ordering if you require delivery on a particular day.

Pre-delivery Inspection/Service

All of our petrol powered equipment undergoes a thorough pre-delivery inspection before it is released to the customer. Despite what some firms may advise, a petrol machine cannot be taken straight from its box and put to immediate use at its optimum performance. Minor adjustments usually have to be made to ensure that the equipment is performing efficiently and safety.

All of our petrol powered products are removed from their boxes, test run and adjusted prior to despatch. We will return the equipment to its box for shipment but four stroke engines will be despatched without oil in the engine (the oil will be supplied). Instructions on filling the engine with oil must be followed. Any machine powered by a two-stroke engine will be supplied with two-stroke oil. Chainsaws will be supplied with chain oil.
